Re-creating

A few years ago I made a free standing picture frame using a giant wooden peg -

which has sat on a shelf in our living room for the past 3 years -
Over the weekend I decided to give it a new lease of life -

Supplies - Echo Park;SEI

I really wish these pegs were still available because I LOVE them -
The photo is an old one of Hubs and I - we really do need to get us some new photos - I just seem to be photographing the guys a lot at at the moment - they are turning from kids in to young men - and its happening so very quickly!

listening - to Radio 2
eating - SpecialK
drinking - tea
wearing - jeans, sweater and socks
feeling - contented that I'm finally getting back on top of my "to do's"
weather - its a bit early to tell, but I think we are going to have another nice day :D
wanting - a slice of toast - I can live without spuds and pasta, but I'm missing bread lots!
needing - to visit post office
thinking - what to cook for supper???
enjoying - my morning cuppa
wondering - if I'll receive a delivery today?

Thanks for dropping by.

Looks pretty! This looks like those large clothespins that Pottery Barn sells...I have a white one and an acrylic one...so you might look there if you want more (since you mentioned wishing they still made those).

So cute! Love what you did with it, especially the 'US' tiles.

What a great idea for a photo holder. I have never seen giant wooden pegs but saw that John Lewis have giant pegs in their stationary dept, think they were made of acrylic or similar and are solid colours. Likely to cost more than a wooden one tho! Hope that helps x

Those pegs are fabulous. I think I have seen some large ones like this in Hobbycraft near all the blank wood bits and pieces. Thanks for sharing :)
