Home Sweet Home

My weekend was a blast!
Spending time with the girls from Moxley Massive was so much fun.....the Moxley Ladies are a giggle a minute and really made my day one that I'll remember for many years to come.

THANK YOU TO YOU ALL for being so creative, so funny and so very welcoming.....it was great to spend time with you all and I hope to come back and see you again in the not so distant future :D
These are the classes that I taught -

I created extras using left overs from the kits including a couple of minibook's too.

I waved goodbye to "The Massive" and headed over to spend the rest of the evening with my Mom - we chatted for a while and caught up on family news over a bite to eat, but tiredness hit me and it wasn't long before I was climbing the stairs to bed.

Up bright and early the next morning, Mom and I headed to the local garden centre where we met up with the rest of my family for Brunch - and then on to my little Sisters to hang out down on the farm for a couple of hours before heading home to my boys.

I used more of the American Crafts "I DO" papers to create my Pencil Lines LO for this week's sketch.

I've got a copy of the Pencil Lines Sketch Book sitting here waiting to go to a new home....so if you would like to get your hands on this copy, as well as a set of Cosmos Cricket Material Girl goodies then....

- simply become a follower of my blog,
- post about my RAK on your own blog,
- and leave me a comment on this post - simples :D

The RAK will be drawn on Friday 30th April.

Have fun and thanks for dropping by.

PHEW!!!!

My puta has been having real issues with me this week and hasn't been my friend at all - I wasn't able to upload images and my email went a bit wonky - but I think its all fixed now.

I had the best time ever in The Netherlands and want to thank all of the lovely Dutch ladies for making me feel so welcome...as well as keeping me well stocked up with Stroopwafels - my boys were so happy to see just how many packets I had when I arrived home very late on Sunday night.....warmed Stroopwafels with a dollop of ice cream and a squidge of honey = heaven!

I want to say a huge thanks to Antoinette for coming to collect me from the airport....and for buying extra Stroopwafels for my boys :D - a big THANKS to all of the PaperGirlz for being so lovely and an even bigger THANKYOU to Truike for inviting me to your amazing store - I could have spent a small fortune buying up all of the pretties that you have displayed so beautifully -

but the BIGGEST THANK YOU has to go to all of the wonderfully amazing ladies who came to take my classes - you made me feel so at ease - you made me laugh - and cry when some of you shared some of your life stories with me - my heart was really touched - THANK YOU.

and so - a new week began on Monday - which is when my puta began playing silly with me - ah well - it meant I had time to play and complete the final touches for my classes this weekend at Moxley Massive.....

I leave in a few hours so I better get to bed.

Check back on Monday as I have a bumper RAK up for grabs.

Have a great weekend and thanks for popping by.

All of the kits for the classes have been packed and thanks to this lovely lady I got to see how they are looking.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone :D

I'd like to share with you a couple of Easter projects I created using Prima products -

Whilst shopping a couple of weeks ago in Tescos, I came across this Easter Egg tree - "perfect for a quick to make project" I thought - so I popped one into my basket.

I wasn't overly keen on the brown branches, so gave them a quick coat of white acrylic paint.

Each of the little eggs are decorated with Prima Blooms and Bling :D

Product used -
Eline Flowers - 300906, 301118, 300821, 300876
Pearl Panache - 538002, 538491, 538422, 537982
Eline Swirl - 300111
Eline pearls and crystals - 300609
Say it in pearls - 529338
The pot in which the tree stands was covered using papers from the Umbrella Collection - 841393 and 841348.

I wanted to make an Easter gift for an elderly friend of ours, who hasn't been feeling too well just lately.

I recycled a cardboard Pringles tube and covered it with new Prima Papers from the Flights of Fancy collection, to create this decorated container. I used a Martha Stewart punch to add a decorative strip to the lid and base of the container.....I just *heart* MS punches :D

The lid was embellished using Primas new Lilliput Lane Roses as well as a Prima Sunflower Vine.
Product used -
Flights of Fancy 841508
Calcutta Leaves - 53913
Petite Fleur Vine - 529079
Lilliput Roses - 537654

The pot was filled with mini eggs and I hand delivered the gift this morning, which made my dear friend smile.

Hope you have a wonderful Easter Sunday and thanks for popping by.

Celebrating 20 years On

Hubs and I have been celebrating 20 years of marriage this week - almost half of my lifetime I have shared with my man who is my true soul mate. He knows me better than I know myself - he is my rock and I'm so very thankful that I have him by my side (even tho sometimes he annoys the hell outta me when he leaves his smelly socks on the floor!!)

With so many classes booked for the coming months, my days have been filled with creating - (and in some cases recreating classes!!!) I'm off to teach at The Moxley Massive Birthday Bash in a couple of weeks time and know there are a few ladies waiting to see some sneaks peeks - well here you go - a couple of the classes I'll be teaching using Cosmos Crickets Material Girl.

Hubs has sat watching me as I've been cutting and sticking and has kept me going with cups of tea (and the occasional cuddle when things haven't quite worked out how I would have liked them to!)

In need of a break from my scrapping space, we took ourselves off for the afternoon and hid away in one of our favourite haunts - the local Italian - and enjoyed a plate of pasta washed down with a few glasses of something nice :D

It was wonderful to take time out to just sit, chatter and ponder over the ups and downs we have shared over the past 20 years - like all couples we have had our highs and our lows - but we've shared them together - united as one - and have worked on through all that life has thrown at us, in hope that we will grow old together.

I had a blast last weekend when my best mate and I went to the local theatre to see The Troggs play live!

As the lead singer jumped around the stage and whisked everyone back to the 60's, it was hard to believe that he is now pushing 70 years of age - when they sang Wild Thing the whole audience erupted and were up on their feet dancing the night away....the highlight of the night for me was when Dave Berry sang "The Crying Game" - I could have cried - it is such an emotive song and he sang it just as good then as he did all those years ago....having siblings who are a lot older than myself, I was raised listening to the hits of the 60's and have always been a huge fan of the music of that era. It really was an excellent show and one I'd recommend going to see if you are are fan of 60's sounds.

The guys are happy that the Easter break is here and that Hubs is around to spend some time with them - even tho he is on his crutches, they have been making plans for a couple of extreme days out....unfortunately Hubs will have to stand on the sidelines and observe as the guys do their thang, which isn't going to be easy for him as he is such an adrenalin junkie!

I'll leave you with a sneak of my Pencil Lines LO for this coming Sunday - Pencil Lines has an amazing sponsor for the month of April, with an awesome RAK up for one lucky scrapper who submits to the gallery, so don't forget to check out the sketch when it goes live on Sunday at 8pm.

Have a great Easter and thanks for dropping by.
