Back in the spring I had the pleasure of attending the Moxley Massive Birthday Bash - anyone who lives in the Midlands area that is looking for a crop to attend, then I would highly recommend joining these ladies for a day of scrapping with loads of laughter thrown in for free - they really are such a fun bunch of gals to be around. A couple of the classes I taught at the bash used product from Cosmo Cricket. We used a Crafting Kit from the Material Girl collection - these kits are amazing with so many sheets of paper and accent stickers to play with they make excellent value.

I thought I'd share images of the classes with you before they get deleted from my hard drive!










With so many patterns to choose from in the kit you can either create a book about your family using the journaling card “A Family is a Patchwork of Love” or you can use the fun accents to create a "Scrapbooking Friends" keepsake.
Throughout my minibook I used a mat measuring 5 x 4 ¾ on all of the pages.
I layered each page with patterned papers and added embellishments from the journaling sheets and chipboard accents.I also used a mixture of real and faux stitching throughout the book.
There is plenty of space to add photographs and journaling throughout the mini book -which was created using a clear acrylic Build a Book from Prima.













After the minibook was completed we still had loads of stash left so I taught this layout class using some of the left overs.


I layered some of the floral details, which were cut from the patterned papers, and combined them with the chipboard accents to give this page loads of dimension.

A big thanks to Anna for loaning me her beautiful daughter to scrap.....tis hard to scrap girlie floral layouts when I'm not really a flowery sort of girl myself and I have far too much testosterone in this house!!!!

So.....who would like a Cosmo Cricket Material Girl Crafting Kit plus a set of matching Chipboard Accents too???
