Sharing some more....

One of the best things for me about teaching classes is seeing how different every ones projects can turn out.....everyone starts with the same kit but no two pages ever look the same :D
My favourite class to teach last year involved using one of Prima's Clear Paintables and lots of Prima pretty flowers.

I designed this class so that each and every page would be unique and that's exactly what happened.
Those that attended the class all came armed with a colour photograph that they wanted to scrap. With plenty of flowers to choose from everyone got to select blooms that pulled colours from their photos.
We began by flipping the Paintables over and giving it a thin coat of white acrylic paint....then we added a quick dab of a second colour.
Once dry, we flipped the Paintables back over and began to work on the front by painting the vine and leaf detail soft shades of green.

A fine line of silver acrylic paint was then added to the frame before the photograph was positioned in to place.

Then the fun really started as everyone added their choice of blooms.....and of course no Prima layout would be complete without a little bling :D

To finish the pages off we added some of my all time favourite Prima Times Chipboard Alphas and then added a little Frosted Lace Stickles to accent the vine details.
I loved watching everyone having fun mixing and matching their colours and so many amazing pages were created during the class - it was certainly a fun class to teach.

Soooooo.....who would like to play with a Clear Paintable and a couple of handfuls of Prima Blooms?
There's even some crystals and a full set of chipboard alphas in today's give away.

Just leave me a comment on this post and then post a link back to this post on your own blog.
I'll pick TWO lucky winners on Sunday 15th August 2010.
Check back over the past couple of days posts for other RAKS which will also be drawn on Sunday 15th.....and tomorrow I have a lil Sassafras love to share :D

Thanks for popping by.

How generous of you Tracie. Can you believe, I have NEVER owned Prima blooms...I usually punch out flowers or use Poundland flowers and dismantle them. It would be so nice to own some Prima. Beautiful colour combo on your page. *Ü* TFS. ~Glen~

What a beautiful beautiful project, I love it to bits. I too have very little in the way of blooms and when I do use them, it is very sparingly to make what I do own go further. I would love to win your very generous giveaway so I could have a try at the wonderful grouping effect you have achieved.
