Mixing it Up

Don't you just love how some collections work so well with others?

I mixed things up a bit this month for one of my Glitz projects and used product from both the Vintage Love and Distressed Couture collections to create this easy to make Tag Book.


To begin creating the book, I simply covered both sides of 6 plain chipboard tags with coordinating papers from the Vintage Love collection - to add more of a vintage look I distressed inked and added faux stitching around the edges.


To add texture to the tags I couldnt resist raiding my lace box! I attached pieces of vintage lace across each of the tags, before then decorating using Glitzers, Accent Stickers and Rubons from both collections.


By first adhering the Rubons to cardstock I was able to attach the accents to the tags using 3d foam pads.....I LOVE Glitz Rubons - they do exactly what they are meant to do and rub on really well.

Clear Stamps Distressing ( S2693) Glitz 5x5 Acrylic Block (A2985). Teeny Alpha Red Block (C2822).


Are you lovin' the new releases from Glitz? I know I am, and I think Hoopla is my favourite as I'm looking forward to "mixing it up" a little with products from both the Hoopla and Maya collections.

I'll leave you with a simply layered Maya page. I hand cut the floral elements from the patterned paper and popped them on to the page using 3d foam pads.
