Family + Friends

The half term break gave us the perfect opportunity to meet up with family and friends, as we have filled our days with a host of activities to keep "the youngsters" and "the oldies" content.

My little Sis and her boys joined us for a couple of action packed days - on one day alone we managed to fit in ice skating, bowling and a long walk on the beach - all of which, although tiring, was fun - we even managed to end our day with a meal out at the local Pizza joint! The youngsters sure slept well that night - which meant us oldies spent the latter part of the night enjoying girlie chatter over a glass or two :D

She's a Nikon fan too:D

My Sis made her way home mid week and the guys and I have spent the rest of our time meeting up with pals and hanging out "doing boy stuff" - quad biking, BMXing and yesterday J enjoyed a session out on his MotoX bike....its been a pretty action packed few days!

During the week, Mr Postie delivered two rather exciting packages for me too :D
The first came from my sweet friend Anna and contained a copy of the new Pencil Lines Sketch Book.

I'm immensely proud of Anna and admire her sheer determination to make her dream a reality. I would like to thank her for offering me the chance to be part of the amazing, although sometimes emotional, journey. Congratulations Anna - you are an inspiration .x.x.x.x.x.

The second package came all the way from the Sassafras offices :D
A huge box filled with the new CHA releases - which I love, love, love :D

Once I'd sorted and sniffed the new releases (about a hundred times), I began to set to work on this weeks Pencil Lines sketch using product from the Nerdy Bird collection.

So that's all folks...that's my half term week wrapped up in a few words and pictures. So what about you? What did you do?

Thanks for dropping by.
T.x.

The half term sounds fun! We had a slouchy time for most of half term... a couple of trips to town, for special projects, but mostly relaxing at home and recharging.

The Sketch Book sounds exciting - I will look at that properly soon.

I am a teeny bit (well a lot!) jealous of the great big stash you got from Sassafrass... you are lucky. Enjoy your scrapping and I hope to see more of it soon!
