An endless stream of GCSE revision, College interviews, appointments with careers officers and tutors have certainly kept us busy....hence my lack of blogging!
September will see J entering into year 10 and we have the added joy of working through the options for his future education. Both Hubs and I have been tied up with mountains of paperwork all of which will hopefully ensure J continues to receive the additional school support he requires to be enabled to reach his full academic potential.
As parents, seeing both boys map out their future for the next two years has been quite an emotionally rewarding time for us - we have watched them from afar and sat back as they have made their own decisions and I'm feeling pretty chuffed that both boys are now finally happy with the choices they have made :D Its been a little contentious at times and I'll admit to having spent a couple of nights being unable to sleep - but after all its their life and all I want for them is that they are always happy.
So, with my time being taken up with the guys Ive not had many opportunity's to get in to my scrapping space and Ive missed it - but as someone said to me last week - “The best inheritance a parent can give to his children is their time” - as much as I love playing with pretty paper my guys always come first.
Once I'd made sure we had dotted all the i's and crossed all of the t's I indulged myself with a days play.
I cant share in full just yet - sorry....

and this is my interpretation of this weeks Pencil Lines sketch -

I used a Making Memories Spiral Journaling Book to create the paper strips for this page which highlights J's passion of BMX bikes.

I hand cut some of the paper accents and layered them up using 3d foam dots.

I used a mix of Making Memories fabric and jelly alphas and the square brads are from My Minds Eye Abbey Road collection.
Thanks for dropping by.
T.x.

TFS
so pleased you have everything sorted for the boys :)
I love how you have managed to make such a busy page seem controlled and finished. I think all the white space must be the trick. It's really fab!
