RAK 500

During this week I have rekindled my love of beading!
A couple of weeks ago I tagged along with a friend to join in at a beginners jewellery making class and although I already knew the basics that the class covered, I left the session feeling really inspired.
I asked Hubs to fire my hot gun back up and Ive been busy playing with glass and making a few beads which I have actually used to create a few pieces.

I can share a few scrapping projects with you now that they have gone live elsewhere.

Sassafras Felties are really cute!!
I made this little door hanging for my friends girl, Lilly, using a page from one of Prima's acrylic build a books.
The felties are great to use on layouts, projects or even cards.

I created this a while ago for Prima using a mix and match of old and new product.

The clocks ticking down to me needing to leave home and head off down to St Agnes, Cornwall, for an over night stay as I'm teaching a couple of Sassafras classes at Scrap Angels....I always look forward to meeting up with the Cornish ladies as they are such a friendly bunch and they make me feel so very welcome.

Its my birthday next week and I've had to go ahead from Hubs to treat myself to some new stash and I just know Rebecca will have lots of new lovelies for me to choose from :D
As this is my 500th blog post, I thought I'd offer up a RAK - leave me a comment and I'll randomly choose one blogger on Monday to be the winner of a Sassafras Anthem class kit with full instructions....and how about a necklace too!

Have a great weekend and thanks for popping by.

Congrats on your 500th anniversary (and you birthday too!) Having a blog is something I dream of one day, but it's very intimidating just now. I'll have to ponder it for awhile longer. Love stopping by and reading your posts and creative inspiration. Thanks for the chance to win!

Take Care and I would love to take some of that extra sassfrass off your hands, I am sure you just have bags of it lying all over the house :)
