Catch up...

As I was driving across Exmoor, bright and early on Saturday morning, I managed to spot a couple of wild deer accompanied by a Stag - they were all standing on the brow of a hill - with the early morning mist rising from the ground and the sun shining overhead, it was quite a magical sight. Its such a rare occurrence to see them these days, and sadly as I was sat behind the wheel of my car I didn't manage to snap a photo.


Saturday was such a lovely day, as I spent it in the company of Karen and the ladies at Art Cards 12 hour crop. The day was long but it whizzed by so quickly.


I taught 4 classes over the duration of the day and I think everyone enjoyed them and learnt a few new techniques along the way. The feedback I've received was all good, so I'm happy that the ladies enjoyed the day. :D
The kits were all amazing and filled to bursting with new products from Sassafras and Prima.



By the time the day was over my feet were aching, but I didn't mind as I'd had such a great day. I headed home and hit my bed just after midnight - thankful that the following day was Mothers Day and my guys had promised me a lie in and brekkie in bed :D


The Guys bought me a beautiful new vase and filled it with flowers - the scent is amazing and fills the room with such floral delights.
They also bought me some shoes!
I didn't know the guys knew that I had been secretly coveting a pair of these babies for a while, so I was really surprised to open my pressies and find them lurking inside.


Luckily for the guys the entire range of Oxygen merchandise had been added to the half price sale in one of the local surf shops - so they bought me two pairs :D


We lunched out at the local - came home and did a little gardening before crashing out on the sofa to watch the final of Dancing on Ice - it was pretty obvious from the off that Ray would win as he is totally amazing - although I was rooting for Jess and would have liked to have seen her get to the last two standing.

What with one thing and another Ive had a pretty hectic couple of weeks so plan for this week to be a little more easy going and for me to play catch up around the home - my scrap room is in dire need of a good tidy, so I'm off to bury myself in stash and I'm going to be really ruthless and dump all of the itty bitty scraps that Ive been hoarding "just in case"!
