Autism 2008 - the latest Awares International Online Autism Conference - opens on November 24, 2008 and lasts for a whole week.
Last year's conference attracted thousands of delegates from around the world and Professor Simon Baron-Cohen called it "the best online autism conference on the planet."

Sounds intriguing - and an online at that too- nice. And the name of the professor caught my interest and he's actually cousin of Sacha. There. Bet you knew that tho :p
Thanks for this! I'm a final year student (and far-too-occasional scrapper) and am doing a study on ASD. This conference is perfectly timed for me. Nice that my hobby also informs my future work...
Thank you for this Tracie, funnily enough i've been trying to track down your blog all day (not a stalker don't worry lol...just an admirer of your work), and then i see this post. My girlfriend Maddy Hill has a daughter who has Aspergers, we all went to the awareness launch party last year in London as Maddy's daughter was used in the brochure and on the cover of it.
Thanks again, i'll pass it on. :)
