What a weekend!

WOW! What a weekend!
My Sis and little nephew finally arrived on Thursday evening after enduring a 3 hour hold up on the M5 thanks to a dislodged crane and an over zealous Health & Safety chappie!

Once she had unpacked and organised herself we settled down to a fun evening catching up on family chatter whilst eating out at one of the local pubs.
Friday my Sis took me out to lunch then we hit town for a little retail therapy!
The rest of the day was spent watching the boys play with their little cousin, who is just soooo adorable and melts my heart each time I look at him.
We lunched out again on Saturday ! Oh the shame!

The guys love going over the Woolacombe - especially to the surfers paradise commonly known as The Red Barn - with great food and amazing views right across the bay I can understand why its such a popular eating place with the locals and holiday makers alike.

Saturday my best bud took me off for a night at the theatre and to say I was mesmerised is putting it lightly.
I love going to the theatre but Blood Brothers was by far the best production I have ever seen - did I cry - you bet I did. Sitting there trying my hardest to beat back the tears was impossible, so I gave in and let the pesky little blighters roll....thank goodness for waterproof mascara!
Saturday was a special anniversary date for me and I thought given the theme of the production I would struggle - it was tough emotionally but I'm glad I saw the show and am so grateful to my dear friend for treating me to a night I will never ever forget.
RIP J & J - 18 years on and you are always in my heart.x.x.x

As a thank you gift for being such a good pal I made a 6x12 LO which was for this weeks Pencil Lines Sketch.

The PP's I used are Prima Urban Cosmos which are available in the UK from Charmed Cards and Crafts.
The weather has been more than kind to us this past few days so we have spent time at the beach and watching the guys on their mini Quads.

With the sun shining my Sis stayed a little longer and we pottered around enjoying each others company - we shared memories of our Dad as it was the anniversary of his death - I cant believe 11 years have passed since he left us - I miss him, his wise words and his hugs.
My Sis is back down at the end of the month so I wont have too long to wait until I see her and her wee munchkin again.

Emotions are running high - I'm clucking like an old broody hen and Hubs is thinking that maybe an addition to our family might not be such a bad idea - ummmm - maybe he will have to hold that thought, because I'm not sure I could do toddlerdum again?????

The sun is still shining so I'm off to scrap in the garden and top up my tan before the rain arrives!

Have fun.
