3 Girls - One Camera

Back in the Summer the guys and I went off camping for a weekend and whilst away Bobs and J made pals with a couple of hot chickeroos!
The lil hunni's have been MSNing back and forth ever since only my guys are never home to catch up with their pals - so Mom is left to pass on messages and as time has passed by Ive started chatting with the girlies.
They are wanting to be photographers when they leave school and yesterday they went off with their camera and played!

They had such fun and Im so happy they shared their lil photoshoot with me :)
Ive had their permission to share their piccies on my blog - didnt they do good eh?

Not a lot else to report - Ive been scrapping and tidying up the house after the mayhem that was half term!
I really missed having the guys around yesterday but their absence meant I was able to give their bedrooms a really good sort out - not a job I enjoy but one that had to be done!

Look at this lil stamp - isnt it a cutie?

Anna sent it to me last week and Im going to sit down this afternoon and have a play:)Thanks Anna.x.x.x

I also received such a lovely lil surprise from Pam.

She sent me these rather nifty journalling blocks as a Thanks - Im going to make them up into a Journalling book for 2008!Thanks Pam - although you really didnt need to :).x.x

Have a great day - enjoy the sunshine!

Family Time.

This weeks Pencil Lines Guest Designer is Fiskateer Stephanie Haman and the sketch was sponsored by Fiskars.

I got to play with some yummy Heidi Grace papers and this is my take on the sketch.

Don't forget to email your completed take on the sketch to the Pencil Lines team so it can be shared in the gallery. There are bumper prizes up for grabs as part of the month long celebrations.

The photographs are of my lil pal Max and his Dad having a kissy cuddly moment. Max is such a little dot but has a huge, huge personality. He loves to give cuddles and nothing is sweeter than a lil peck from my tiny buddie. I simply adore him and love him sooo much.x.x.x.x His Dad's not bad either - LOL!
Tux and I have been mates for what seems like forever and he is my buddie Linz's partner. These two people play a huge part in our lives and are my guys Godparents - and pretty wonderful Godparents they make too.
Lil Max and his big bro Tom love to pose for the camera but have me sussed - they charge me to take their piccies! LOL!

So what else have I been up to???

Ummm how about a few sneakies of the November kit from Bad Girls

The kit is jammed packed full of the most amazing mix of PP's and embellies - it really is a stunner this month and I take my hat off to Wendy for pulling such a wide range of product together to create a kit that is totally awesome.

Can someone tell me what happened to the weekend because its passed me by in a blur!
Its been a nice blur though and we have spent the time as a family having fun and catching up with visits to extended family and friends.

Hubs Grannie lives close by to us in a Nursing Home and we spent a good couple of hours with her this afternoon.
She is such a quirky lil lady and I have so much respect for her. She suffered a real bad stroke a few months ago and can no longer walk but her mind is so active - she is as bright as a button and keeps her grey cells active by completing The Times crossword everyday!
J and Grannie have a bizarre relationship - some days they don't talk to one another and then others they spend chitter chattering away non stop.....today was a talking day for them both!

Grannie asked J to dig out some of her old photograph books. He sat perched on the edge of her bed looking through the very old and tattered photographs....some dating back to the late 1800's! I'm really not a huge fan of heritage LO's but I so wanna scrap some of the photos because they are an important part of Hubs life and I feel we need to make space for these generations amongst the pages of our scrapbooks.

Suggestions for Heritage style supplies would be most welcome :)

Have fun and enjoy.

half term happys

The guys have been off school all week on half term holiday, which means Ive been one busy Mama.
We have had a stream of sleepover visitors with plenty of late night bed hopping!
My cupboards have needed to be restocked on a daily basis.....why didnt anyone ever tell me teenage boys eat double their body weight at each sitting????

Our days have been jam packed filled with Fun, Fun, Fun.
We have laughed til we cant laugh any more. The guys and I have had soo much fun and Im going to miss them when Monday morning comes and they head off onto the school bus.....hey ho....not long til Crimble and another holiday :)

With the guys needing my undivided attention Ive been scrapping late at night.....lots done but nothing to share :)
Well apart from these lil sneakys.

Ive has some amazing news this week..Im going to be an Aunty again :):):)
Im so excited for my Sis and her partner....finally after what seems like forever they are going to be a family. My Sis has been on the phone telling me all about her baby purchases and I'll admit to feeling ever so slightly clucky....darn those hormones eh?

Watch out Mini Boden here I come :)

Have a great weekend....have fun and be happy.

Lookey - Lucy came to play :)

Ive been so excited in the run up to this weeks Pencil Lines Guest Designer making an appearance because I love love love her work.

Lucy is one of those scrappers who totally blows me away with her talent. When I saw her LO my jaw dropped and I sat there completely speechless....her LO is stunning - vibrant and soooo much fun.
I'm really looking forward to meeting up with Lucy and scrapping with her next April at the Scrapping Angels retreat :)

Anyways - for my take on the sketch I used the photographs Sarah and I took of each other a couple of weeks ago.

The PP's and ribbons are from the newly released Ba, Ba, Black Sheep range from Piggy Tales.

Alphas are a combination of American Crafts Thickers.

Ive been having a Piggy Tales weekend and have scrapped lots using the new releases.

These little projects can be shared and are all created using the Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater collection.

Ive a few more LO's and bits and pieces to share but they need to be kept in the dark for a couple more days:)

I'm not 100% sure that the new ranges have hit the UK shores just yet but Banana Frog have other ranges from Piggy Tales in stock.

Thanks to everyone for popping by my blog and leaving me a lil comment....Ive plenty of places to go lurk now :)
Bobs chose a number and the lucky winner of my RAK is this lady :)
Email me your address and I will post your packs of Prima out later this week. :)

Gotta go....I promised myself an early night and it hasn't happened!!!!

Have fun.

Packages and Parcels

Still feeling grotty with a 'orrible virus but hey ho! Its soon the weekend and Im sure I'll be fine by then :)
Mr Postie has delivered so many yummy packages to me today that I am sitting in stash heaven :)
My prize parcel from Prima arrived first thing and in it were hundreds of the cutest blooms, ribbons I just want to sit and stroke all day and some rather funky denim patch embellies.

The patches will team up rather nicely with the papers that arrived in my second parcel of the day from SIStv.....I love the papers designed by Kellie Crowe.
As if that wasnt enough stash for one day, Mr Postie arrived with a parcel from Craft Obsessions.....I blame Terrie for my recent purchase with them!
I indulged and treated myself to a couple of the Swatch Book rubons - which are sure to make an appearance on a LO very soon. LOL!

With all this new stash to play with - I guess Im going to be a busy gal.

Ok - so I have more than a fair share of the Prima Flowers - I kinda thought it would be nice to share - leave me a comment between now and Sunday night and I'll enter your name in the draw for not 1, but 4 packs of the blooms.

Have fun....be happy...keep smiling.

For my Friend

The month long Birthday celebrations are still under way over at Pencil Lines :)

Joining us as the Guest Designer for this weeks mid week sketch is Caroline Lau of Maya Rd.

The mini book she made is stunning....go have a peep and if you play along please remember to email your completed project so it can be featured in the readers gallery :)
There are a ton of prizes up for grabs :)

I decided for this sketch I'd have another go at making a mini book out of acrylic sheets and here it is

The pages are simply cut from over head projector sheets....real cheap from Staples :)

I sandwiched my PP's and photographs in between the sheets before sewing the edges together.

Rub ons, crystals and other embellies were then added on top.

The pages are held together with a couple of book rings, to which I tied loads of yummy ribbon and one of Sarah's lil crochet flowers she gave me last weekend. :)

PP's are Love Elsie, Betty - rubons from Urban Lilly, 3 Bugs and a whole host of others!

Piccies are of my friends lil girl....Ive already popped it in the post to her as a lil "thank you for just being you" pressie...I hope she likes it :)

Not much else to report apart from having the most awful cold! Grrrr......I hate feeling so groggy but on the upside Ive slept loads and no longer look so haggard from my late night scrapping sessions! LOL!

Happy days.

Weekend update

I *heart* my scrappin buddies :)

Speshally Sarah, Terrie and Theresa :)

My Saturday was spent in the company of these lovely loons....Theresa endured my driving skills as she accompanied me to the Plymouth Crop for the day.
OK...so I have a new car and haven't quite familiarised myself with it yet...but hey we got there safe and sound and didn't get lost at all - which is a first for me!

Being greeted by Sarah and Terrie with big squishy cuddles was worth the early start to my day :) I love hanging out with these gals....Terrie has the hugest stash supply I think Ive ever seen....I ohhhed and arhhed over her project kit from Bad Girls...it really is very very lovely...Sarah gave me some ickle crochet flowers she had made and they really are the cutest lil things...I so have to get her to teach me how to make them.

Scrappin with buddies is always fun - I only wish the day was longer as I managed to start but not finish two LO's unlike Theresa who completed three!

I met up with some of the other users from UKS - tis always nice to put faces to the names of the people you bump into on line.....waving hello to Lindy, Hazel, Dee, Lucy and the other gals who made my day one I will remember.

Theresa and I headed home....we giggled and laughed all the way and finally made it back in time to watch the England Rugby team make it thro to the World Cup finals....whoooo hoooo :)
Ive never been so excited....Go! Johnnie Go!

I was so wrapped up in watching the game that I didn't venture into my craft room at all last night.....Hubs kept asking me if I was going to go scrap...ermmm no...I'm tired and wanna go bed!

Silly me! Hey?

Hubs had only been playing with my on going craft cupboard project and was waiting for me to go explore......Ive been busy with the guys today and didn't actually make it to my craft room until late afternoon today!
Oh my....look what Hubs has made me!

Ive been asking Hubs for a clip it up styley sorta storage thingy to hang my packs of stickers/rubons from. After I'd taken a look at Michelles idea of using a kitchen towel holder I asked Hubs if he could make me something similar. Ive not really got enough desk top room to house a clip it up, plus I wanted to utilise the space on the back of the doors of my cupboard, so unbeknown to me, Hubs set to work whilst I played at the crop :)
Hubs "invention" works like a dream!

He used 3/4 inch steel pole from B&Q which is used to make hanging rails inside wardrobes apparently??
From it he hung book rings and binder clips from Staples...it works a dream and cost just under £20 for 80 hanger thingies!
Ive just got to sort out all my packs to hang now!

This weeks Pencil Lines Guest Designer is Amy Coose. Amy is a DT member for 3 Bugs in a Rug who kindly sponsored the sketch as part of Pencil Lines birthday celebrations :)
This is my interpretation of the sketch

Ive scrapped these piccies before for my album but decided I'd make a few pages for my Mom as a Chrissie pressie...I can post this here cus she isn't into the fandangled world wide web LOL!

3 Bugs have also provided a goodie bag of stash for one lucky scrapper who completes this weeks sketch and submits their LO by email to the Pencil Lines gallery :)

What are you waiting for? Go scrap!

Have fun.
