The guys had complete fun despite one or two spats...teenage male hormones are yuck and I thought girls were supposed to be bad!!!
Whilst away this weeks Pencil Lines sketch went live.
Check out Gigi's sketch....its fab for a multi photo LO.
I used papers from Piggy Tales, Little Red Riding Hood collection, and American Crafts letter stickers to create my LO which is of my guys play fighting....is this brotherly love or what?

Back to our camping trip - Our drive over Exmoor was fantastic....we passed through Lynton and Lynmouth, then on to the moor. I just had to make Hubs stop the car so I could snap a few piccies of the wild ponies....I'd never actually seen them up close before and didn’t invade the mares space too much as she had a wee foal close by.

The colours of the Moor are so breathtaking especially when the Heather is in bloom....the landscape looked like it had been covered with a huge purple blanket.

We arrived at Mill Farm and two hours later had made our base which was to be home for us for the next 4 nights.
By the time we had unpacked, rearranged and blown up the air beds the sun had begun to set...and what a spectacular sunset it was.

My buddie, “Titch”, and her guys came over and stayed with us from Friday thro to Monday and that was it....we lost the guys....they spent their time together swimming and trying their best to avoid the group of girlies who had taken a shine to Bobs and my buddies youngest son, “Mouse”!

The guys were far "too cool" to be seen out and about with their parents, so us adults chilled with the odd glass of Vino....we ate, we laughed, we enjoyed the sunshine....loads of relaxing took place and I’m feeling very rested.

Saturday we took the afternoon out and went and played a game of pitch and putt at Cannington golf course....

Hubs spent a fair few hours looking for his lost balls in the scrubbery! LOL! Golfing just isn't extreme enough for my man!

J wasn’t so keen as the heat and glare of the sunshine was just too much for him, he took to the shade of the trees at every available opportunity.

Arriving back at the campsite he headed straight for the pool! He just loves the water!

All was well until I decided to cook us up a huge supper of spag bol! I had a slight accident and managed to douse myself with the contents of the pan of bubbling hot water! OUCH!
If it hadn’t been for the swift actions of “Titch” and Hubs I would have been in big, big trouble. The remainder of our time away saw me sitting out on the fun whilst I sat wrapped in wet towels with bags of frozen ice strategically place to help prevent my burns from worsening.
Apart from feeling very sore I’m doing OK and have to go see the Doc later today to have my wounds looked over and the dressings changed.

Despite my accident we still had loads of fun and have another weekend camp planned very soon with Hubs in sole charge of the campfire cooking!
I'll post the name of my RAK winner tomorrow so check back to see if its you!
Have fun.
