What a blast this weekend has been.
Its been fun , fun, fun and then some!
Friday saw me racing round like a mad woman as I prepared for Anna and Sarah to arrive - Sarah's Momma came too - and what a complete sweetie she is - Sarah certainly inherited her beautiful, warm personality from her darling Mom that for sure.
So the ladies arrived - we packed kits whilst catching up on news and views and then headed down to the hotel to enjoy an evening of delish Thai food and plenty of natter.

The workshop went really well and I'm sure everyone enjoyed the classes - Anna taught two fantastic LO classes using scrummy papers from Cosmo Cricket - we broke for lunch and then back to a scrappin frenzie as Sarah taught a totally lush class for which she had crocheted the cutest lil flowers - she also made each delegate a real cutsie lil pin cushion and an ATC - she is such a giving person and I consider myself exceptionally lucky to have her as friend.
I was sooo busy in the kitchen that I didn't get chance to snap any piccies of Anna and Sarah's classes - but I will grab some from them and share ASAP!
The day ended with a couple of classes from me using papers from Piggy Tales......
Anna was meant to leave on Saturday afternoon to start her journey home - well that was the plan until Hubs mentioned Nacho's! Yummmmy!
So after the workshop came to an end and we had packed away everything, loaded the cars and turned out the lights, we headed off to Croyde to savour a huge plate of the world famous Nacho's, a-la Thatch styley - and bloomin wonderful they were too!
Home to a glass of Baileys and the log fire was just what was needed after what had been a fantastic but exhausting day!
I fell fast asleep before my head had even hit my pillow!
This morning we woke and decided to head out in the stormy weather to show Anna the local beaches - off we trotted to Putsborough, then Croyde and ended our little sight seeing tour at a local Bistro where we enjoyed a Sunday brunch washed down with a latte or two!
It sure was windy!!
Anna let me have her play with her Nikon - Ive been thinking of changing my Canon 350D for a while now and after playing with Anna's camera today have decided to go for it!!
Bobs wants a Canon for Christmas but I told him that as I had spent out for his Freanch trip and have bought him a couple of other things for Christmas that I really cant justify spending anymore money on a new camera for him - so he said he would be really happy to have my 350 camera whilst I get a new one...sounds like a good idea to me ;)
Its been a wonderful weekend - a weekend of scrapping with friends and one I will remember forever.....big thanks to Sarah and Anna for coming down to teach and a huge thanks to everyone for coming to play along at the workshop - you really are the best.
My Bobs is off to France tomorrow for a week long school trip - his bag is packed and I need to be up at 4am so I can wave him byesy bye - I'm going to miss him soooo much - he has promised to phone home every night just so I can hear all of his news....I'm sure he will be far to busy having fun and will forget!
Boys eh?
Anyways have fun and enjoy whats left of the weekend.
