Madness and Mayhem!

Madness! Sheer madness!
The past week has been a total rollercoaster ride.....with ups and downs to boot!
Ah well! Such is life....the new week starts and with it will be sunnier skies and brighter days.

In between sorting and fixing Ive managed to get quite a bit of scrappin done....personally for me I find its a great way to shut out the daily grinds of life...I lock myself away, turn up the volume on my Ipod and self absorb in a little creative therapy...I always emerge from my craft room feeling soo much better.

I was ultra excited to see Mr Postie this week....he bought me not one but three wonderful boxes filled to the brim with oddles of yummy new stash to play with.

Box one was from Scrapping Goodies and its contents were amazing.....Rach has put together a stonkingly good kit this month. It is so full of product that its sure to get the old creative juices flowing....Cherry Arte, Hambly Transparencies and the crochet flowers are just so darn cute...I really must get myself over to visit Hubs Gran so she can teach me how to make my own.

I used some of the kit to create my offering for this weeks sketch for Pencil Lines.

PP's are all the new Morrocco range from Cherry Arte and I used one of the Hambly Transparencies to frame the photograph which is of the signpost at the bottom of our lane....whenever we go away, upon our return J always says "This sign makes me glad -glad we are back home"...bless my lil homebird eh?

Check out this weeks sketch from Guest Designer Sarah van Wijck and if you play along you could be the lucky winner of a set of Sarah's fab new stamps - full details how are over at Pencil Lines :)

Box number two, delivered by Mr Postie, contained scrummy stash from Scrapping Angels - Anna asked me to be a Guest Designer for Scrapping Angels whilst Annie is sunning herself on her hols....I was honoured to be asked and even more blown away when Anna asked me if I would like to teach a couple of classes at Scrapping Angels Retreat next April....would I like to? Of course I bloomin well would :) Im so excited :) Lucy from SIStv will also be there teaching :) Whooo hooo :) The weekend is going to be a blast and Im already planning my classes!!!

I sat and played for the afternoon and created two LO's using this months Scrapping Angels page kit and still have enough stash to play some more.
Heres a couple of sneakies :)

Box three....well that arrived Saturday morning and had me sat on the kitchen floor stroking stash for almost an hour! Im not sharing where it came from....well not just yet anyways ;)

So what else has happened this week?

Bad Girls Top Designer contest saw 40 of the Design School students leave :( Its so sad to see so many people leave the contest especially when the standard of work which is being produced has been so inspiring...I wish everyone could win but there can only be one scrapper crowned The Top Designer.
Class 2 has now started and WOW! The Design Students have really cranked up the work thats been submitted...if you wanna see for yourself then take a peep here.

On the home front Ive spent a couple of afternoons catching up with buddies, its great when they pop round for a cuppa and we spend the afternoon chatting about nothing at all....just chillin, hangin out together and enjoying the last of this summers sun.

I went and watched Bobs play in his first fottie match of the season....and he scored :)

Ive also spent an age sorting out my scraproom again and have been chasing the education department trying to sort J's schooling probs out.....grrrrrrr!

So what about you?
Whats your news?
Care to share?

I couldn't resist your invitation to share news. My news is that I have had a baby boy, he is called Reuben, weighed in at 8lb2oz and is just georgeous. Now I have even more to scrap about once I have caught up with my Learn Something New class with Shimelle.

I love the LO's especially the signpost to nearly being home. I love that feeling after a trip to visit family in the North East and we see the Welcome to Wiltshire sign. I can feel my shoulders relax and just think 'ahh home at last'.

Keep them coming I really enjoy popping over for a visit to see what you have been creating. Have you managed anymore beads...?
