Why is it sooooo cold? Isnt it supposed to be flamimg June? Well it flaming well isnt!
The sun is trying really hard to shine but the rain is beating it hands down....grrrr. Our sun tans are fading fast :(
The washing machine has been working overtime and finally the last load is drying in the tumbly :)We have all landed back to earth with a huge bump....the guys are missing their buddies, the sun and lazy days spent down by the pool or on the beach....in one way Im pretty glad they are feeling so blue as its a sure sign they had a fab holiday.
Heres a few more holday pics...
Whilst we were away on our hols I celebrated my 39th birthday. My birthday is always an emotional time for me as its a reminder of my fathers death. His funeral took place the day after my 29th birthday :(
Hubs had bought me a new lens for my camera back in April which was an early birthday pressie, so I wasnt expecting to be showered with any more gifts. Bless him. He said he couldnt have me waking on my birthday without pressies to open.
The boys made me some beautiful cards and presented with two ickle boxes which contained silver beads for my Troll bracelet.
My Troll bracelet is now officially full.
Being back to normality is such a grind....washing and the dreaded housework all needed to be done....food shopping had to take priority as our cupboards were bare. I really didnt want to venture out in the rain but needs were a must!
Whilst in the supermarket I grabbed a copy of this months Scrapbook Inspirations.
I was so pleased to see the LO's that my lil buddies Tommy and Max created, whilst we were playing one afternoon, had been included in the mag :)
Tommy will be sooo pleased when I head off over to pay them a visit this afternoon armed with a copy for him. Both boys really enjoy playing with my stash and Ive started saving all my scraps for our special lil scrappy get togethers.
A LO I created using some rather funky double-sided papers made by Rayher, that I managed to get my hands on whilst at Stitches back in Feb, had also been included in the Readers Gallery :)I love these papers so much and must hunt down a UK stockist because I need some more.
And finally heres the LO I created for the Pencil Lines DT call.
Im still on the ceiling and cant believe Ive been given the oppurtunity to work alongside so many talented scrappers. The LO's submitted in the DT call gallery are all amazing, please take a look here....there really are so many awesome scrappers around that it must have been such a tough job to select the final 4.
Tumbly dryer has just bleeped so its time to start the ironing....yuck!
The winner of my lil challenge will be announced tomorrow....Hubs and the guys will be picking the winner tonight :)
