Brrrrrrrrrrrrr..........

We are home!
But where is the sun???
Tis so hard to believe that 24 hours ago we were sat poolside sipping Pina Colada and eating Tapas whilst the guys were participating in their last game of water polo!
Home to the freezing cold, bomb threats and a hot water bolier that has decided to die whilst we were away:(

Our flight home was severly delayed due to the events here in the UK....the Flight Captain did his best and managed to get us across the seas in record time - 1 hour and 35 mins from Palma to Bristol....Jeez it takes me longer to get across from one side of town t'other during the summer months!
We arrived back home 11 hours after leaving the island of Majorrca......home to rain and dark skies :(

The guys were heartbroken to say goodbye to their new Spanish and Breetesh buddies.....email and MSN addresses have been swapped with promises made to stay in touch.....holiday romances can be so painful cant they?

So the holiday....well it was bloomin fantastic! It was magical...it was special and the guys have said that so far its been the best they have ever been on. I took them to the places I wanted to....they walked the same beach I had walked on as a child....they shopped in the same lil open air market....they jumped off rocks into the sea....they sang...they danced....they laughed and they cried when we waved goodbye to the island.

We met up with a lovely family from Up North and spent most of our second week venturing out with them at night to sample the delicious food (ermmm and the odd glass or two of falling down water *hic* )....days were spent chilling on the beach....swimming and snorkelling in the sea....we hit the poolside and chilled a lil more and then when we were chilled out settled down to even more chillin time!! I guess you could say we are all relaxed, refeshed and feeling very de stressed. The guys have had such fun and even joined in with Mirelle, Serjio, Simon and Lousette (the resdient anamacion team) and took their place on stage to perform during the hotel's nightly show!

Tis good to be back home, despite the bolier being capput!
Returning home has made me even more determined to become fluent with my use of the Spanish language...I managed quite well without making too much of a fool of myself! The guys both amazed me at how quickly they were able to converse with the local kiddies.....children have no inhabitions do they? J sat happily chattering away with some guys who spoke very little English but they communicated....they played and they formed special friendships.....friendships I hope last for many years to come.

We are all tired....cold and the holiday blues are starting to set in:(
Back to school tomorrow urghhhhh!!....J has an induction day at the secondary school....YIKES!!!

Happy lil dances took place when I flipped the puta on and discovered so many emails congratulating me for being selected as one of the lucky four who made it to the Pencil Lines design team! WOWZERZ! Now that sure made my return home to the wet UK a lot brighter. Im totally blown away by being given the oppurtunity to work alongside some amazingly talented ladies and to be part of such an awesome concept.

Home to my scrappy happy lil den with sooooo many photographs to upload....soooo many wonderful memories captured, memories which will be treasured and preserved.....just wish we had some bloomin hot water!
Im off to my buddies for a shower and then into my own bed I will hop and sleep.....Oh how I need some sleep.

Laterz all......tis good to be back.
T.x.

Ah, there's nothing like getting into your own bed regardless of how good a holiday has been.
