Its time......

for a little competition me thinks!

If you dont know by now Saturday 5th May is National Scrapbooking Day!
A day to celebrate your passion for scrapping.

We all scrap for so many different reasons.....I scrap because -

Its my me time.....my chance to lock myself away from the day to day hassles of life and indulge in some much needed "me" time.

Scraping is my creative release....Ive always enjoyed messing about with crafty stuff - Im left brain dominant which means its in my make up to be creative - I can't change that - its me - its who and what I am.

Scrapping lets me capture those moments and hold on to em for a lil longer....instead of those special times just being a memory which will fade in time, I now have pages in my scrapbooks.....pages I will treasure in years to come, especially when the old grey cells start failing me!

Scrapping has lead me to develop my photography skills and whilst still poor, they are improving every day.

I scrap because I want to....plain and simple....I do it because I enjoy it.

So my lil challenge for those who want to play along is.....


Create a layout between now and 9am on Monday 7th May which conveys your reason for Scrapping......tell us why you do it!
