Time Out!

Isnt it marvellous....isnt it wonderful....isnt life grand.

I just love days when I can wander about, taking in the sights and sounds of life.

Ive been such a busy bunny over the past few weeks that I decided to treat myself to a wee break.....its amazing how much can be achieved when you free yourself from the norm.

Hubs and I have indulged in a little retail therapy....finally sorted out all the holiday stuff we needed to do and have extended our run to the sun holiday by an extra week....so its two weeks of sun and sangria for us four in June....yippety skips.

We treated ourselves to afternoon tea at the new Tea Bar which has opened in town and rather yummy it was too.

The guys spent most of their time skating, we have walked in the sunshine....

Weve ambled across the field to the hay barn....sat and chilled out for a while whilst listening to the quietness of the countryside...the guys love exploring the old barn and climbing over the hay bales.

I just love springtime....the sights and sounds are magical....everything is coming alive after the long winter.

We have had barbie suppers at the beach....

Ive watched my guys laugh and fool around and its bought a smile to my face and warmed my heart...

I also watched the rabbit do some gardening....grrrrrr...now that did not make me smile!

The guys got haircuts...

Whilst I went exploring the delights that can be found in our local pound store I found these yummies which are just what I needed to finish a lil summer project Ive been putting together.

We have spent every day together watching the sun go down on perfect days.....days that will always be remembered.....days that have been enjoyed because Mom took the time to remember she was a Mommy and her guys needed her.

Try taking some time too....I can highly recommend it.

T.x.

What a beautiful post. I love your family photos and that photo of that little path and the fence is so serene. Just lovely. You are an excellent photographer. I'm glad you are taking it easy. :)
