My guys really inspire me, especially J. His fight and determination to overcome his day to day problems really amaze me. He inspires me to look at the world through different eyes.....his world is so much nicer than the real world we live in.
He sees things that noone else does....well not without really looking. He sat looking at a snail in the garden the other day.....he was so engrossed by that wee slimy chappie...the patterns on the snails shell.....the tiny tentacles...the way the snails foot rippled as it moved. He pays so much attention to the smallest of detail.....details that often get missed because we get so wrapped up in living our mundane lives.
J appreciates everything he sees in his own unique way. He will often point things out to us that we have never seen before...maybe it’s his need to perseverate and hyper focus that cause him to do this???? Apparently it’s a common trait that children with ASD have.
We are surrounded by beauty but how many times do we actually stop and look?
Yesterday was such a special day for me....taking time to stop and admire everything......giving it the time it deserved...appreciating it for all its worth.
So I guess Natural Beauty inspires me.
I used the piccie of the shell Hubs found on the beach yesterday....I love the way the colours are so distressed on the surface of the shell....it almost looks as if its been attacked with acrylic paint!
This challenge is such fun....Im loving all of my cards sooo much. Why dont you play along too?
