Bobs loved it and skated till he dropped.
I managed to shop til I dropped and have now bought most of J's pressies :) Bobs has thrown a bit of a spanner in the works because he has asked for just one present. He never asks for anything but this year he shocked us all by actually sitting down and saying "please, please, please Mom can I have a Chopper?"!
Now we arent talking the MK3 2006 version....nope he wants a 1974 original Mk2 black with chrome everything....just like the one his Dad and I had when we were young tackers!
I fell in love with Hubs in 1974 at the tender age of 6! He was 9 and the first guy in our area to have a Chopper bike....ummmm I got one pretty soon afterwards and thought we looked so cool riding off on our adventures on our matching bikes....how naff eh?
So the hunt is on....we have trawled ebay and manged to find a couple....one was way out of our price leauge at £1600!!! The other seller wont sell now...auction ends tonight and he wants to wait to see how much he can get for it...boooo hisss...I offered him good money....real cash NOW...but no he wants to wait to see if he can get more more more! Ive placed my highest bid and you watch I'll still loose out...I always do on ebay :(
Flippin heck we had two of the things sitting rusting away in my Moms garden shed until we flung em at the tip a couple of year back....£3k dumped Wahhhhhhhhhhhh

If any of you lovelies out there have an old rusty Chopper bike lurking in the darkest recesses of your garages/garden sheds that needs a new loving home, and you wanna make a bit of spare dosh before Crimbo email me at info@littlecottagecrafts.co.uk Hubs reckons he will be able to restore one in time to make my Bobs smile on crimbo morning :)
Last night Hubs took the guys out to one of his mens skittles nights and left me home alone to enjoy some peace and quiet and off course I scrapped a little.
I finished off my Mystery Kit project from A Trip Down Memory Lane for the UKS Cyber Crop
Heres a sneaky peek

Off to iron the uniforms for school tomorrow.....boooooooo.... I love having my family all around me....not long til the school hols eh :):)
