Second thanks got to the Jellies for prompting me to update and refresh my blog.
I spent last night chilling out on the beach with my guys and "the cousins". DH came home early and we packed up loads of yummies.
I really dont know how my guys do it....I was bloomin freezing in the sea even with my wetsuit on...my tootsies went numb after 10 mins but the guys stayed in for well over two hours. The waves were really awesome BUT bigger and better are forecast for the weekend!
DS1 caught a huge wave and bailed just before me. His board shot up in the air and clonked me right on top of my head! OUCH! Under I went and just as I resurfaced his board crashed down on my face....OUCH again!
I am now nursing a lovely balck eye, swollen eyebrow and a ickle cut on the bridge of my nose! Its the tiniest of cuts but is so sore :(I rode in to the waters edge on my board and sat there feeling very dazed....Ive seen people have their faces really smashed by fins and boards over the years....this was nothing in comparrison but it was my face and it hurt!
I gave up for the night....prised my lardy back side out of my shortie and sat on the beach and watched the guys for the rest of the night...we built a fire and ate the yummies...being on the beach late at night is so much fun...all that space for the guys to run around and not have to worry about kickin sand over the grockles.
Home to a hot shower, hot chocolate and a huge slice of cherry pie....yummmmmmmmmm

ouch indeed tracie...that eye looks nasty!. hope you're getting lots of sympathy from the guys!!!.
